Waterloo Acoustics provides purpose-built acoustic enclosures for individual items of mechanical and electrical plant through to complete plant rooms. Typical applications include air-cooled condensers, air-handling units, chillers, heat pumps, diesel generators, compressors, pumps, fans and refrigeration plant.
No two installations are the same, so each enclosure is designed around the equipment and the site. As well as the required noise reduction, we consider airflow and heat rejection, access for servicing, future removal or replacement of plant, weather protection and the space available. Enclosures can incorporate acoustic panels, louvres, attenuators, solid or louvred doors, removable sections, roof panels and supporting steelwork.
These projects are normally delivered as a complete turnkey package, covering the initial acoustic assessment, design, manufacture and installation.
