Louvres for the Royal Festival Hall

The Royal Festival Hall stands at the heart of Southbank Centre complex. Opened in 1951 as part of the Festival of Britain, the Hall is one of the world’s leading performance venues.
Waterloo Acoustics’ were contracted by Cubit Building and Interiors Ltd to design, supply and install a range of specialist aluminium and steel louvres at the Royal Festival Hall. This prestigious 1950’s Grade 2 listed building has undergone a complete refurbishment with attention to detail in maintaining original appearances paramount. Equipment supplied has included  steel and aluminium weaher louvres, curved and shaped aluminium louvres and heavy duty welded aluminium louvres above the main entrance foyer. The bespoke louvres were designed to authenticate the original 1950’s installation in terms of material and product configuration. The fit-out also included refurbishment work on existing roof plant louvres and louvred doors with like for like replacements.
